The bed is made of high quality polypropylene, with a smooth surface to prevent burns and provide a safe, comfortable jumping surface.
A Dacron reinforced vinyl hem is used around the trampoline bed, and then stitched with nine rows of 34-pound test thread to provide a stronger and longer lasting bed. The springs on the Regal Medalist are galvanized before they are formed, ensuring superior rust resistance and longer use. They are also tapered at each end for added durability. The thick walled eight-piece frame allows little flex of the trampoline during use, providing greater durability than 20-piece frames. Also, the 13 gauge. 55,000 psi steel pipes are galvanized both inside and out to maintain complete rust resistance. The frame pad on the Regal Medalist is lined with two layers of Ethafoam to protect the jumper from the springs and frame. Water drains through the mesh under the foam, preventing premature aging and rotting. This tough, thick pad also provides the jumper with comfort and safety when getting on and off the trampoline.
